This charming little museum (Mažosios Lietuvos istorijos muziejus) offers an original look at the history of the region. It displays all kinds of objects: archaeological finds, old photos of the town during the Second World War, examples of traditional dress, coins, newspapers and, above all, amber objects dating back to the5th and 6th centuries. On display are necklaces that were used not only as ornaments, but also as currency.
