JEWISH CEMETERY (ŽYDŲ ŽYDŲ)

Prior to the German occupation of the city in March 1939, Klaipeda had a fairly significant Jewish population that was decimated during the war. Today, at the bottom of the Jewish Cultural Centre, a plaque reminds visitors that until 1939 was the Jewish cemetery. There are only a few tombstones.
