MUSEUM OF RESISTANCE AND DEPORTATION

Located on the first floor of the cultural centre, this museum is dedicated to the local resistance against the Soviet occupation. It tells the story of the deportations to the gulags. The museum also organizes tours of former bunkers located in the nearby forest. In the cultural centre, the classical concerts of the festival "Summer in Druskininkai with Čiurlionis" take place (in July and August). Little information in English, but guided tours are possible upon reservation.
