FUNICULAIRE ALEKSOTAS (ALEKSOTO FUNIKULIERIUS)

This is one of the two funiculars in Kaunas. This one, Aleksotas, offers a beautiful view of the whole city when you reach the top. It is located 200 m south of Rotušės Square. Once you cross the Aleksoto Bridge over the Niemen River, you can access the funicular to the top of the hill. From there, a magnificent panorama stretches over the entire city. Feel free to enjoy the sunset and walk - via the stairs - or cycle back down to the city.
