Jonušas Radvila built this palace in the 17th century while he was Commander-in-Chief of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Governor of Vilnius. There are permanent exhibitions of 16th- and 17th-century European portraits and paintings, as well as a gallery of some 165 family portraits in their former home.
There are also temporary exhibitions, such as those on rebels and art during the Soviet occupation.
