KARAITE TEMPLE (KARAITE KENESA)

Although not open to the public, this temple has a certain importance as one of only two Karaite temples in Lithuania. Karaism is a current of Judaism-Scripturalism, based on precise quotations from the Miqrah, the Hebrew Bible. This small religious community (only 192 practitioners in the country as of 2021) meets here. But to get to know this religious branch better, don't hesitate to admire the temple!
