It's one of the earliest Baroque buildings in Lithuania, and still perfectly preserved. For those in the know, the plan is based on the example of the Discalced Carmelite Church in Rome. The marble and granite facade is an example of early Baroque, while the interior is late Baroque. Masses are in Lithuanian, Polish or Latin. Next door is the Ostra Brama chapel, with its images of the Virgin Mary.
