GALERIJA CENTRS

For the record, Galerija Centrs dates back to 1938, and was renovated in 2006, featuring modern, harmonious architecture. Locals and tourists alike can enjoy browsing the 140 or so stores - many of them international brands - on almost 30,000 m² of floor space, all covered by a glass roof (the only one of its kind in the Baltic States). The fifth floor features a sports complex and the fourth a foodcourt with five different brands (Latvian, Georgian, vegetarian, etc.).
