Natural rock pool over 4 m deep, fed by the Hampstead River, similar to the Emerald Pool.

Take a short detour inland, and after the village of Bense, you'll find the Chaudière (or Chaudron). A thirty-minute descent brings you to this freshwater pool fed by the Hampstead River. It's a natural rock pool over 4 metres deep, similar to the Emerald Pool. You can swim here with children, and even dive in. A superb place to discover, where you can even pack a picnic! The trip can be made on foot or by 4 x 4 car.

Chaudiere Pool est un endroit idéal pour visiter si vous ressentez une baignade rafraîchissante en eau douce en visitant Calibishie ou d'autres endroits sur la côte nord-est de la Dominique. Éteignez la route de la côte aux panneaux pour Bense, et recrutez les services d'un local pour vous aider à atteindre l'endroit. Il y a un peu de promenade du parking à la piscine, mais ça en vaut la peine. Vous aurez probablement cette belle piscine pour vous-mêmes.
