The Sipi River rises on the high slopes of Mount Elgon and flows down to the plain in a series of three beautiful waterfalls, the highest of which, falling almost 100 metres, is one of the most picturesque landscapes in the country. The accommodations are located on the edge of the basaltic cliffs, from which the river cascades, allowing travellers to rest for a few days while enjoying beautiful walks in the surrounding hills, amidst banana and coffee plantations, offering superb views of the Kyoga Lake basin and the Elgon peaks
