NYEGE NYEGE FESTIVAL

If you're a festival junkie, hold on to your September! Nyege Nyege (first held in 2015) is, in fact, the largest music festival in East Africa. It brings together, for four days and on several stages, alternative DJs and musicians from Africa and elsewhere, and, of course, "musicomaniac" partygoers ready to wiggle relentlessly! Nyege Nyege ("sudden and irrepressible urge to dance" in Luganda) is also an independent label that promotes the cream of the African musical avant-garde.
