Although the Fort Portal 9-hole golf course is less prestigious than the Old Course at St Andrews, it should nevertheless delight golf enthusiasts(green fee: 30,000 Ush, club hire: 60,000 Ush, caddy: 20,000 Ush). Nestled between the Botanical Gardens, the Fort Motel and the road to Kampala, it is rather pleasant and offers beautiful views of the Rwenzori.
