The Elephant Plains Lodge, a luxurious counterpart to the nearby Simba Safari Camp owned by the same company, opened its doors at the end of 2018. Perched at an altitude of nearly 1,000 metres, it offers a sublime panorama of Lake George and the savannah expanses of the park. You will be able to enjoy the view from the pool, from the pretty and spacious cottages, each with a terrace, and from the common rooms (lounge, restaurant...) decorated with great care (sofas and armchairs in basketry, wooden works of art...). Good reception.

I've been visiting Queen Elizabeth National Park for 15 years. It was great to be back in the bush for an inspiring week of exceptional sightings. Thanks to the team at Uganda Lodges for the lovely welcome and professional service throughout my stay.

The team of staffs at the lodge gave me an experience that was therapeutic in nature, from receiving me to settling me in. The breakfast and meals, were all on point ????; if tomorrow wouldn't end, I would love to spend more time and days in this great serene and hospitable environment.
The lodge's inviting main area perfectly blended comfort with the allure of the surrounding nature.The rooms are large and well-equipped.
The attentive service especially by Ms. Lillian and Mr.Arnold truly stood out, adding a personal touch to our stay.
The food was delicious, offering a variety of flavors and even a local food selection to enjoy. While a digital detox doesn`t harm, having internet boxes in the rooms could be a useful addition.
In short, Elephant Plains Lodge is a gem. With its beautiful views, comfortable spaces, and great service, it's a perfect choice for a memorable getaway. Highly recommended!
