Administered by the Uganda Wildlife Authority, Lower Camp, located near the Tembo Canteen (where independent travellers can feed themselves), offers accommodation named after animals. Rooms are basic, clean and all have at least one mosquito net and a fan. The more expensive rooms are equipped with a shower and a "little corner"; for the others, you have to share common sanitary facilities hidden behind a building. The information centre and the petrol station are located in two blocks.
