Don't expect to find livery boys, perfectly set tables and fine food at Tembo. Here the food is rather classic (goat muchomo, katogo, omelette, pizza...) and invigorating. However, the establishment proves to be practical for campers and people staying at the lower camp. The tables under the trees are perfect for enjoying a fresh fruit juice during the day. Marabouts and mongooses are fairly frequent guests, and hippos are not to be sneezed at after dark...
