We can highly recommend. Edith and the whole staff is super friendly, explained everything and took very good care of us. All the amenities are great. You can also enjoy drinks and live local music by the campfire. Or go spot then three horned cameleons. It is close the Bwindi main gate where the gorilla trekking starts from.
This was honestly one of mine and my friend's favorite places we stayed at during our entire month-long trip around East Africa!
We stayed here for one night as part of our trip to do gorilla trekking at the Bwindi forest with Home to Africa tours and it completely exceeded our expectations. The view was great, the food was good, and the people/vibes were *excellent*. Everyone working here had such friendly energy and they welcomed us so openly. It was such a chill, peaceful place -- with a fire lit up at dinnertime, a musician playing softly nearby, and everyone volunteering to help us with bags and things. Oh, and we engaged in their free, short "chameleon walk" that they offer guest wherein a staff member walks around the premises to help spot male and female chameleons. We saw four (two males and two females) and they were super cool! Definitely an unexpected bonus activity during out trip!
Love this place. Great vibes. Highly recommend.

Thank you Michael for visiting the mountain gorillas and visiting our little home of wilderness.
And we are glad it became your favourite spot for your wilderness and wildlife holidays in East-africa.
We can't wait to hosting you more with your friends.
cheers
Came here to camp with my own vehicle, but because it was low season we could stay in a very nice room for a reduced price. Very nice people who run the place. Could help organizing tours. Good food. Good prize. 10 minute drive to Ruhija gate for gorilla tracking. Recommend!

Thank you Elise for your visit to Broadbill Forest Camp.
yes true we offer special rates during the lower seasons and our Ideal locality for Gorilla conservation and tours with a wide range of activities around the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest makes us the right choices.
We look forward to hosting you again in the future.
cheers.
We stayed on the campground with our campervan, the second car with us with a roof top tent was offered a nice tent with toilet and shower at a extremely good price. The camp ground is still under construction, but you will get a jerry can with hot water. Toilet is available.
There is a guard at night on the camp ground.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and supportive. They also booked the Gorilla Trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
The Camp is only approx. 10 Minutes away from the entrance into the forest. Besides the unforgettable Gorilla Trekking we also booked a Bird Watching tour that we can only recommend.
The restaurant offers very good food at reasonable prices.
The last 3 - 4 km are a bit rough but good to manage, if you have a 4x4.
Thank you Jaakko for your visit.Broadbill Forest Camp would like to host you for more time to enjoy their services too.
We look forward to hosting you again soon.
cheers.
Great night spent here on our safari tour. The staff was super nice and the food was really good. Our covered tent and private bath was really clean and cozy. I can’t say enough about how nice the staff is here.

Thank You Simone for your visit to the Impenetrable forest and glad that you enjoyed your stay.we look forward to hosting you again.
cheers.
Stayed here a night before gorilla trekking in Bwindi. The road to get to this lodge can be pretty rough due to the road being very narrow and bumpy.
First impressions were surprisingly good. They offered a very short 15-30 minute tour to look for female and male chameleons around their lodge. The servers and workers were attentive and offered help when they can.
The rooms were clean and the beds had covered warm water pouches in the bed to keep warm. Room did get a little cold at night because rooms were tented and lodge was located in higher elevation. Bathrooms were big with a shower and a tub. Hot water in the showers can take awhile and wi-fi was only available in the dining/common area.
Food was good, but not a big fan of burnt pancakes.
If easily squeaked out by bugs, it might be an issue. We had a praying mantis on our chair in the room. No biggie though since it technically was located in the middle of nowhere in the mountains.
I had a great stay because my tour operator handled the logistics and communicated with them. Hopefully, the great customer service continues.
one criticism is that they tried to grab the chameleons off the trees for photo opportunities and that is not okay because i prefer not to stress out animals for some vanity.

Thank you Glow for your visit to the Impenetrable Forest for the mountain Gorillas and glad that you enjoyed the Services @Broadbill Forest camp.
We look forward to your next visit.
I spent two nights at Broadbill Forest Camp and it was one of my best moments.
The views of the park are outstanding, the locally-made furniture in the banda, and hot water 24/7.
As you sit outside your banda/tent, you hear the sounds of birds singing and sightseeing of monkeys, birds, squirrels, and different types of butterflies.
The meals are always on point with great stuff always ready to serve you.
When it comes to the fireplace, it is one of the great places you all need to be with entertainment from an old man playing the flute and other local musical instruments of long ago.
All in all, I highly recommended meant this place for your stay on your Mountain Gorilla tracking In Ruhija, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
We had a wonderful stay at Broadbill Forest Camp. The atmosphere of a family stay, food is delicious and staff simply excellent. The fireplace in the dining room is a plus since it's quite cold in the evening, but you don't feel it in the banda as you get warm blankets and hot water bottle. We will be back soon to get diploma for gorilla tracking.

Très beau lodge, bien placé. Accueil charmant, des singes comme voisins, ainsi que divers oiseaux. Ce lodge complète bien une expérience de rencontré avec les gorilles. A recommander.
We stayed for one night included in our safari. The service was great! Food was good (also the lunch bag we got was ok). A little bit cold during the night, so bring warm clothes. Only bad thing is the road to the camp. Our car got stuck and we had to walk the last 25 minutes. Not a problem for us, but i would probably not stay there if i needed to drive all the way to the camp.

What a beautiful place this is! I spent only one night and wish I had spent more time here. It is in the middle of the dense forest cover and you feel a part of it. I reached Broadbill forest camp late in the night and the staff were so accommodating to help arrange for a late dinner and even packed an early breakfast for me. The stay was great! Would highly recommend staying here if you are in going to Bwindi for the gorilla trek.
