Established in a mansion built by Captain Don Pedro de Castañeda of Rojas, who had rebellé against the English invasion of 1762, the museum presents the historical evolution of the pre-Columbian period to today through various archaeological objects and pieces. We saw better in the provincial museum, as in Cienfuegos.
