The Havana Club Foundation, located in the heart of Habana Vieja, offers through its museum an encounter with the history of Cuban rum from its origins. The lively museum reconstructs the life of a rum factory, from its most traditional origins: planting, harvesting, manufacturing process. Through a model, the spectator is transported to the middle of a plantation for a few moments! Tasting of old rum offered to close the visit!

La visite est très intéressante, bien qu'assez rapide. Touristique par définition. La boutique est un peu décevante. Plusieurs miniatures de scènes de la fabrication du rhum. Dégustation en fin de visite.

Interesting guided tour of the museum: you will discover models as well as many objects used for the fabrication of rum (sugar cane mills, fractionating columns, etc.). Rum served with tasting is classic and I thought that they would offer a rum a little luxury, especially when you see the price of the visit compared to the cuban standards.

Nous avons eu droit à une visite guidé en français pour ce musée qui retrace le processus de fabrication du rhum, de la canne à sucre à la bouteille. C'était très bien expliqué et intéressant avec une grande maquette pour illustrer le tout. La visite se cloture par une dégustation de rhum (7 ans d'âge) dans un vieux café puis par la boutique dans laquelle on peut acheter les différentes bouteilles de rhum dont certaines millésimées et hors de prix.

Visite intéressante, une superbe maquette d'une plantation et divers bâtiments. Dégustation à la fin de la visite et achat possible.
