EDIFICIO BACARDÍ

Built in 1930 by the owners of Bacardi rum, this building is the most beautiful example of Art Deco in Havana. It was for a long time the first and only "skyscraper" in the Cuban capital. Unfortunately, only the hall of the building is open to visit, but it is worth it because the architecture is really superb: geometric patterns, polished marble, pink granite, sculptures... Not to be missed! At the time of our visit, the building was under restoration. But you can still slip an eye between the bars of the entrance door!
