CENTRO DE ARTE CONTEMPORANEO WIFREDO LAM

The Wifredo Lam Contemporary Art Center, created on February 28, 1983, is an institution dedicated to the research and promotion of the work of Wifredo Lam (1902-1982), one of the most important Cuban artists of the 20th century, as well as to the emerging figures of Cuban contemporary visual creation. Lam promoted a mixed painting, between Western modernism and Afro-Caribbean symbolism, creating his own language. Very beautiful works here.
