A few hundred metres from the Tigris (Dejlé in Arabic) and the watchtowers that mark the Turkish border, the Ain Diwar bridge can be an excursion objective in this isolated region of Syria called the "duck beak". In view of the bridge situation, this excursion should not be considered during rainy months. Furthermore, as is the case in all areas bordering the country, maximum discretion is recommended. The bridge is located 18 km after Al-Malkiyé. A bit before diving in the valley, you have to take a road to the right that goes into some kind of career. A few metres is a checkpoint that offers a remarkable view of the Tigris valley. The officer asks for the name and profession of tourists, who must leave their passport in the offices the time of the visit.
