French baker Gontran Cherrier has teamed up with Singapore's Spa Esprit Group, which owns a number of restaurants, to open a bakery. In the heart of Tiong Bahru, on the terrace or indoors, Singaporeans and foreigners alike flock to enjoy breakfast. The pains au chocolat and croissants are excellent. Later in the day, you can also stop for a sandwich. For a sweet break, the millefeuilles, vanilla cream puffs and kouign-anamm are irresistible!
