The Temple of 'Dragon Mountain' is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Singapore. Built according to traditional Chinese methods with classical ornamentation such as dragons with a pearl in their mouths, the temple has been enlarged and underwent several renovations. Guan Yin or Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara represented with his thousand hands symbolizes his desire to help and to listen to complaints. If the Leong San See temple is a Buddhist temple at the origin, it is also frequented by Taoists and Confucianists.
