Singapore River Cruise operates bumboats, old wooden ferries with a charming look. The cruise starts from Read Bridge Jetty in front of Clarke Quay and its former warehouses. Then the boat goes down the Singapore River along the right bank first and Bat Quay, CBD, Merlion. It crosses the bay to Marina Sands and then returns to Fullerton before going up the river by the left bank. The cruise lasts about forty minutes and the explanations are in English. A night cruise with laser show takes place every evening.

Laser show cruise
Le départ du laser show cruise se fait à partir de Clarke quay. Nous avons payé 38 dollars par personne. C'était une agréable promenade de nuit pendant 45mn sur les canaux parmi les gratte ciel illuminés jusqu'à Marina bay oú a lieu le laser show, au pied de l'hôtel Marina bay avec son et lumière . On passe à côté du Merlion également illuminé. Les photos de nuit rendent bien.

Nous avons fait cette balade en fin de matinée sur les canaux. C'est une bonne alternative pour découvrir ce quartier au lieu d'en faire le tour à pieds car il fait très chaud et l'atmosphère est humide.

Pleasant walk which gives another view of the docks and the marina and photos of the lion from another angle. Life on the docks is quite lively in the late afternoon and you can spend a pleasant time in this area off the boat; however restaurants in this area are boxes with tourists, it is better to dine elsewhere!

Le plus c'est de faire la "croisière" de nuit. Agréable quand il fait chaud, et surtout un bon point car les bateaux sont silencieux car électriques.
