THE ARTS HOUSE

This splendid building is the oldest colonial building in Singapore designed in 1827 by G.D. Coleman, an Irish architect, and housed the Parliament until 1999. The Arts House opened in 2004 with the aim of offering year-round arts events and promoting Singaporean and international culture. The organization has taken on a mission of excellence, considering that the concerts, exhibitions or plays offered should honor the place. It also houses the Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall.
