Founded in 1908, this restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside - it's like an Indian fast-food restaurant. The food is really affordable and very good, and it's a meeting place for everyone in the neighborhood. As with many Indian restaurants, the dishes aren't very large, so you're free to try as many specialties as you like! Fish head curry, mutton biryani, roti prata, mutton kurma, beef massala... Expect to pay an average of S$5 per dish and take around 4 to eat well, and be prepared to enjoy the spicy dishes!
