In 1965, Tan Kim Seh, an artisan specializing in Chinese porcelain, moved to Singapore with his family. He acquired a "dragon kiln" and began producing pots for orchids and cups for rubber plantations. He quickly won a large number of orders and played an active part in Singapore's economic development. Since then, the small company has gone from strength to strength, with 120 employees. Diversifying into tableware, the workshops now supply major hotels and restaurants.
