LABAN RATA REFUGE

Most hikers enjoy full board. The cafeteria, the only option at Laban Rata, offers a beautiful view when not obstructed by clouds. Eating out isn't exactly cheap at the refuge, so many decide to bring their own food. However, once you've met the porters who make the ascent to supply the refuge, you'll eventually find the cost justified. 2am to 3.30am: light breakfast buffet. 7.30am to 10.30am: more substantial and more expensive breakfast buffet.
