Located on the edge of the city of Kuala Lipis, Kenong Rimba National Park covers 128 km2. It is the smallest on the peninsula and home to the Orang Asli population of the Batek people. This corner of pristine forest, very difficult to access, is home to numerous caves, including Batu Tang Kup and Batu Tinggi, which will give even the most experienced speleologist a thrill. The flora is rich and the fauna includes elephants, goats, buffalo and wild goats. You can also camp and take boat trips. Guides are compulsory to visit the park, so you need to make prior arrangements with an agency.
