100 km southwest of Kuantan lies Lake Cini. Surrounded by mangroves and forests, it's a set of twelve small interconnected basins, called "chinnie" by the Jakuns, a local tribe whose legends envelop the site. Best visited between June and September, when the lotus flowers are in full bloom.
