NEGERI SEMBILAN MUSEUM

The Istana Ampang Inggi palace, built between 1861 and 1869, was moved and rebuilt here in 1953-1954. Its characteristic overlapping roofs, adorned with buffalo horns, are very beautiful, with their raised, pointed ends. This all-wooden palace was built without the use of a single nail. Weapons and musical instruments are on display. On the same site, you can also see typical peasant houses on stilts with thatched roofs. It's all worth a stop, especially if you're travelling by car.
