Kuala Lumpur International Airport is located 45 km south of the capital. It actually comprises two separate terminals, several kilometers apart, but sharing the same airport infrastructure. KLIA is the airport for international airlines and Malaysia Airlines. KLIA2 is the airport for Air Asia and regional low-cost carriers.
