Meedhuffushi is one of the first island-hotels opened to tourism on the very preserved atoll of Dhaalu. The vegetation is quite lush, and the beautiful beach gives access to a huge lagoon ideal for water sports. The eastern side of the island suffers from erosion and the breakwaters spoil the fun a bit. On the other hand, the island has two very beautiful beaches. Of average size, 400 m x 200 m, the island hosts the Sun Siyam Vilu Reef. All the paths are sandy as on many islands in the Maldives, so you leave your shoes quite naturally. The atmosphere is very friendly and the island keeps a human character.
