Athuruga is a small round island, 220 meters long and 130 meters wide, very beautiful but also very built. We regret that the collective infrastructures occupy a lot of space, leaving little room for vegetation. The pretty beach to the west of the island is somewhat spoiled by the pontoon of the villas on stilts. On the other hand, the island occupies a vast lagoon full of fish. In the center of the lagoon, there is a large and beautiful fishy pool to be explored freely by PMT. Diamonds Athuruga Beach & Water Villas is a perfect copy of Thudufushi, a small island on the same atoll and managed by the same group.
