Thudufushi is a carbon copy of Athuruga, from the same Plan Hotels group, in both design and operation. This tiny island hotel was given a facelift in 2010, and welcomes guests as Diamonds Thudufushi Beach & Water Villas. The round island is less than 150 metres in diameter and has a large, beautiful powdery beach. The island suffers somewhat from erosion and breakwaters have been installed on the northeast side of the island to protect the beautiful ribbon of sand that runs around it. It is positioned on the edge of a beautiful lagoon with a large natural pool and a small deserted island
