Opened in October 1998, the Sun Island Hotel is frankly old-fashioned. The hotel has a shopping mall with a hairdresser, a jewellery shop, a photo lab, souvenir shops and a video games room. There is also a sports complex, 4 floodlit tennis courts, the largest swimming pool in the Maldives, rollerblade, billiards, volleyball and basketball courts, aerobics classes and a putting green for golfers. The resort also has a diving centre and a spa.

Unforgettable superb holidays. The hotel offers quality services, the staff is very welcoming. We hope to go back a day.

Sun Island is a very friendly grand hotel. I recommend the deluxe rooms that offer comfort. The hotel offers many excursions as well as sports are included in the all-inclusive package.

The main restaurant is buffet-style but there are restaurants said. There is also a bar, a business centre and a spa.

Needless to say that it is a real pleasure to stay in this hotel that I recommend
