NARIVA SWAMP VISITOR'S CENTER

A permit is required to enter this area of the Nariva Marshes. You can obtain one at the on-site visitor center, which will provide you with all the information about the Nariva Marshes. It is located in the small village of Kernaham in the heart of the Marshes: continue along the road past Mayaro, towards Radix Point and then along the coast to arrive there after about 10 kilometers. The reception is friendly and the authorizations are usually easy to obtain.
