Harts Carnival is a very popular mas band in Trinidad. It was founded in 2009 by the Hart family, who have been involved in Port of Spain Carnival for over 60 years. Today, it is one of the most important mas bands in the parade. Harts Carnival is known for its elaborate, shimmering costumes made by the Caribbean's finest designers. It incorporates a variety of European, African and Indian symbols. The Harts Carnival party in the days leading up to Carnival, known as "Harts in Wonderland", is one of the city's most popular.
