This trail of the park of the Amistad does not present difficulties. It goes up towards Bocas on the cordillera. You will cross first the pastures, then the primary and secondary forest to reach the summit with view on the Pacific and the Caribbean. Most hikers turn back at this point (about 5 hours round trip) but you can continue to the sea. In this case, go with a guide (4-5 days one way). You will find lodging in indigenous villages along the way, which adds a cultural dimension to this hike.
