This restaurant, created by Canadian sisters Emma & Brit, offers healthy cuisine in a very pleasant setting, with a warm dining room and a leafy patio. Natural fruit juices, craft beers, delicious salads and vegan and vegetarian options will convince even the most hardened carnivores. Brunch formulas are creative and gourmet, as are the burgers, salads, fish, curries... Two other appetizing addresses in the neighborhood: Snack Shack (ave A y calle 5ta) and Mahalo Cocina y Jardin (ave B y calle 11)!

Open daily from 9am to 10.30pm. Brunch (without drinks) Saturday and Sunday 8am-3pm, US$8-14. Lunch from 8 to 16 US$. Wheelchair and mobility-impaired access. Facilities for the hearing and visually impaired.

Owner's Message

Mahalo Cocina y Jardin first opened its doors in 2016 in Casco Viejo, Panama, and expanded to another location within 3 years. It was founded by two Canadian sisters who shared a passion for entertaining others with a subtle influence on health and wellness.

In 2019, Chef Carlos Lucas joined their team, bringing his knowledgable approach to help create healthy comfort food, using a home cooking approach to classic international dishes.

Great atmosphere, service and food. I have been here multiple times, and it is always exceptional! Breakfast, lunch or dinner! It is also a great restaurant option for vegans and vegetarians. Their mahi mahi tacos are amazing. I also liked their almond crusted tuna and their falafel bowl. If you're craving something sweet, their pineapple crumble is great. Opt to share your dessert though since the dessert servings are quite big (although no one is complaining).

Delicious dinner in a beautiful garden setting. Everything was impeccable. We shared an assortment of starters and flatbread. The portabella dumplings are some of the best gyoza we’ve ever had! Las Clementinas (our hotel upstairs) is also delightful, with beautiful antique wood furniture and tiles and gorgeous room with a view of the city.
