Tucaya Travel was founded in 1996 in Venezuela, then expanded its activities in Panama, Costa Rica and finally Colombia. Tucaya has always wanted to place people at the heart of its project, with values of respect for the environment and humanity shared by its local teams. In Panama, Sandrine has managed the agency since its creation in 2004. That same year, she gave us her good plans to help us create the first Petit Futé Panama guide! Almost fifteen years later, we are pleased to see that the values of responsible tourism have remained intact in Tucaya despite the company's growth. In particular, the agency supports several social and environmental programmes in the San Blas and on the island of Gobernadora, and a few months ago signed an agreement with the Mar Viva Foundation to work on sustainable tourism projects in the Gulf of Chiriqui and Montijo.
