AL KAMANDJÂTI

The Al Kamandjâti association was founded in 2002 by Ramzi Aburedwan, an artist (gold medal winner at the Conservatoire d'Angers), who was born and raised in the Al-Amari refugee camp near Ramallah. The association builds music schools for Palestinian children and organizes concerts of classical Arab music. The association has a strong presence at the annual Palestine Music Festival in June.
