AL-KASABA THEATRE & CINEMATHEQUE

Opened in 1970, the Al-Kasba theater also turned to cinema in 2000. Today, it is one of Ramallah's main performance venues, and consequently one of the city's cultural hotspots. In addition to plays and daily film screenings, festivals are frequently organized. It is an essential part of Palestinian film culture, as there are few places in the West Bank that bring together actors and directors.
