TIKOTIN MUSEUM OF JAPANESE ART

This beautiful museum, founded in 1959 by Dutch collector Felix Tikotin, is dedicated to Japanese art. It is the only one of its kind in the Middle East. The collection includes numerous objects of Japanese art dating from the ^14th to the ^19th centuries. Prints, engravings, textiles, ceramics and miniatures(netsuke) are all on display. You'll appreciate the calm of the premises, the splendid view and the small café upstairs, perfect for a pleasant break. A truly delightful museum.
