CAESAREA MARITIMA MUSEUM

Numerous ancient artefacts have been discovered on the territory of kibbutz Sdot Yam, while ploughing the fields. This is to be expected, given that the kibbutz borders the archaeological site itself. They have been brought together in this small museum on the kibbutz premises: an excellent destination to complement the visit to the archaeological site, with less tourist pressure and a definite cultural interest. You'll see marble statues, sarcophagi, pottery, jewelry and the successive periods of settlement in Caesarea.
