The Christian Information Center established in 1973 is located at the Jaffa Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem, opposite the Tower of David. It is run by the Franciscan Custody of the Holy Land and provides a number of information about Christianity and the Holy Land, including shrines and holy places, the number of churches in the area, liturgy, aspects of religious and cultural life, events and activities, etc. The centre is open to the general public.
