The first edition of this festival took place in 1984. For 10 days, films, documentaries and short films from all over the world are screened at the cinémathèque film library, Smadar cinema, Merrill Hassenfeld (Sultan's Pool) or giant screens installed near First Station (the former Jerusalem train station converted to the recreation and restoration centre).
