Convent located in the Muslim quarter of the old town, offering single-sex dormitories and single rooms.

In the Muslim quarter of the old town, on the Via Dolorosa, the French nuns of Notre-Dame de Sion live in the Ecce Homo convent, founded in 1862. For many years now, they have also been welcoming travellers to their sober, clean and timeless premises. In the convent itself, there are dormitories (single-sex) as well as individual rooms with fans and private bathrooms. The whole is particularly serene and well-kept. And the view over the old town from the rooftops is memorable.

I unfortunately stayed only one night (annual closure obliges...) but I do not regret this square: its location in the Old Town, its history, its view over the Jerusalem roofs and especially its charming welcome, cleanliness, etc...

Moreover, ideal for budgets!
