Another great address in the Mahane Yehuda market: this popular little restaurant serves the best koubbeh in the neighborhood! This meatball, breaded with cracked wheat, is cooked here in a variety of sauces, including soups, the most famous of which is undoubtedly the "red" koubbeh soup(marak kubbeh adom) , made with beet. Also worth trying is "yellow" koubbeh hamousta soup, a delicious, slightly sour soup made with lemon and zucchini. Vegetarian options are also available.
