FERIA NACIONAL DE ZACATECAS

This festival is more popular and traditional than the cultural festival of Zacatecas which takes place in April. In the programme: rodeos, charreadas, concerts to preach and cumbia with famous Mexican and Occitan artists (Paquita La del Barrio, Marco Antonio Solís), and craft stands. The festivities are accompanied by religious celebrations, with the procession of the Virgin del Patrocinio, transported from the chapel of Cerro de La Bufa to the cathedral.
